Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of integrating a global perspective into my life and work. Having been raised by an Eastern Indian father and a French Canadian mother, I've always wanted to explore other territories. This desire to understand other cultures has led me in different directions…literally. After finishing linguistics degrees in Spain and France, I further expanded my education by working with people throughout Central and South America. It was through these experiences, and a memorable trip to India with my father, that I set out to find a deeper connection with other parts of the world.

My fascination with the textiles and furnishings from Southeast Asia inspired me to weave together an aesthetic from the diverse, multi-layered, rich traditions of India, Indonesia and Thailand into a contemporary Asian style. The juxtaposition of modern Asian styles with colorful traditional pieces works to create a well crafted environment that speaks of a journey in time and place. The decorative traditions of Asia are based on balance and contrast placing equal emphasis on the uses of color, form and materials to create a harmonious and nurturing home environment.
